One arrested for kilo of cocaine on bus
It may not seem like much compared to the two and a half ton cocaine bust of two weeks ago, but as they say, one-one full basket. Around seven on Monday night police at the Boom checkpoint on the Northern Highway hit pay-dirt when they stopped a Novelo’s bus heading north. According to police reports, a passenger aboard the bus was acting suspiciously and when the cops searched his bag they found over two point three pounds of the white powder. Thirty year old Kent Forbes of Corozal Town has been charged with drug trafficking.
