Remains of missing man found in Cayo

The remains of a man who disappeared almost three years ago have been found off the Western Highway in Cayo. The discovery was made on Wednesday afternoon near Windy Hill Resort. A white Toyota car, which had been extensively burned, was also found at the location. Minata Calderon of Bullet Tree Village was able to identify a pair of brown shoes found near the body and the car, which she says belonged to her common-law husband, fifty-three year old Carlos Thompson who went missing on December eighth, 2002. Police suspect foul play in the death and are seeking assistance from anyone who might be able to help them solve this crime.
