Western Hwy. accident leaves victim unconscious

Tonight authorities need your help in identifying the victim of a traffic accident on the Western Highway. According to police reports, the victim, known only as “Corozal,” was knocked down on Wednesday night between miles four and five. He was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where he continues to lie in an unconscious state. The driver of the vehicle, twenty-nine year old Ralph Nunez, told authorities that while heading towards Belize City, he noticed a cyclist riding in the same direction in front of him, but suddenly the man swerved in front of the vehicle.
