Shirley Ferguson releases new CD

Her heartfelt music has earned her acclaim both at home and abroad and this week, singer Shirley Ferguson has released another CD. She stopped by our studios to tell us what’s going on with her latest musical creation.

“They will hear souls, mostly souls on that new CD. I love the one says “What’s Going On”, that’s the name of the album, cause there’s a lot going on right now and there’s another one that says, the other one that I love on that CD is “Hello Love.”

“Miss Shirley, what keeps you going with music production? We always hear local artists complaining they don’t get the support and it’s so hard to produce it, what keeps you going for so long?”

“Well my role model was my father, he was a musician and a singer. And that’s what keeps me going, because when I remember Dad I say I got to do it for him and I wish that he was alive to see me right now. But for the sake of my father I will on keep doing this for a long, long time until the Lord ready to take me home.”
