GO Wireless Opens Revolutionary Outlet
Christmas time is a popular time for buying gifts for family, friends, co-workers and even for your KK. Gadgets of all shapes, sizes and functions are on the market this season, but GO Wireless is making a name for itself by offering quality products at low prices. GO Wireless Direct has been operating in Belize since 2009 providing Belizeans with affordable, high-end phones at rock-bottom prices. Its main store is located at the lower flat of the Vista Plaza at miles three and a half on the Phillip Goldson Highway. But on Monday, after so many years of service to the public, the owners have revamped its location and launched its new GO Wireless Mega Mobile Technology Store.

“We are customizing according to Belizean demand. We have senior phones for elderly people with big keys. We have water proof phones for people that fish, people that are always swimming. Look at this waterproof phone…this can go ten feet under water, can stay there half an hour, take videos and pictures in the water. We have high end phones, we have low end phones, we have for everybody and we even manufacture our own accessories. So we are giving Belizeans exactly what they are looking for.”
The store has been retrofitted to provide customers with a one-of-a-kind hands-on experience. It has become a more user-friendly and spacious environment and providing persons with readily available electronic devices such as laptops, cell phones, gadgets, and more. You can even listen to music.

“We are trying to make everything more interactive…have the customers come and feel for the product. They can actually feel and see what they like and sure of what they like and walk out happy. Instead of just looking at it in a counter and touching the phone and just deciding in an impulse way that they want this, they can actually look at the features of the phone, if the memory is enough, how fast is the internet; they go more sure out of the store.”
But what separates GO Wireless Direct from the others? C.E.O. and Owner, Vicky Thadhani says they manufacture their own line of GO Products that provide customers with quality at reduced prices.

“The mere fact that we manufacture our own brand. What is happening is that Belize, generally people cannot afford the new technology which is out there, the newest camera, the latest phone with memory, the latest screen and many features and we are trying to make it more affordable. I mean instead of spending twenty-five hundred dollars, the person can save a lot of money and spend eight hundred dollars. Our most expensive phone is eight-ninety-nine which is the most advanced in technology and we have android phones from ninety-five dollars and that is not possible if we don’t manufacture our own phones. The most basic android phone in Samsung or LG is two hundred forty-nine, two hundred ninety-nine and our ninety-nine dollar phone is much more advanced than that two hundred and forty-nine dollar phone. And like that being the case, our eight hundred dollars phone is much more advanced than the twenty-five hundred dollars phone. We are just trying to make technology more affordable. And yes, the people who want Apple and who are brand-centric and they want Samsung, we also have that also. We are not forcing you to buy our brand; we are just offering you a cheaper choice, a smarter choice. It is the same technology…we are using the same hardware, the same software; it is just that we are directly manufacturing so that’s why we can afford to sell much cheaper.”
