24 Year Old Charged in Anti-Drug Operation

Twenty-five year old Cassian Young was charged today for the Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply to Another. Young was intercepted by police in the area of Conch Shell Bay where the Gang Suppression Unit was carrying out anti-drug operations. According to the GSU, Young was heading to Vernon Street from the direction of East Collet Canal carrying a bag.  When he spotted the GSU, he reportedly got rid of the bag and attempted to flee. But he was nabbed and taken to where the bag had landed. It contained four hundred and thirty six grams of cannabis. Young was then taken in custody and charged.
