Charges reduced in taxi driver murder case
A man accused of murder had his charges reduced today in Magistrate’s Court. Roland Smalls, who along with Michael Young is accused of killing taxi driver Rudrick Todd, appeared in the courtroom of Magistrate Richard Swift where he was read the lesser charge of manslaughter. The murder charge still stands against Michael Young. Rudrick Todd went missing in early June and his body was found later that month three miles outside of Belize City on the Western Highway. Smalls was granted bail in the amount of five thousand dollars plus one surety of the same amount, but so far has been unable to meet bail.
