Belizean pianist gives master classes, concert
Belize’s premier pianist, Frankie Reneau, is back for what is becoming his annual workshop with young piano students. Reneau will give two master classes at the Bliss Centre for Performing Arts on August twenty-ninth and thirtieth at six-thirty. Any piano student wishing to participate is asked to submit his or her name to the Bliss as soon as possible. Reneau will also be giving two performances for the general public, which will include some of the students. These will take place in Belmopan at the George Price Centre on September second and in Belize City at the Bliss on September fourth. The concert and master classes are sponsored by the Institute of Creative Arts, ICA, a branch of the National Institute of Culture and History, NICH, in collaboration with Gina Scott’s Belize School of Music.
