Carnal Knowledge in the West and San Pedro

Tonight the brothers from Calla Creek, who allegedly had sexual intercourse with a teen who is now pregnant, are in police custody.  Police arrested and charged twenty-five year old Maysin Smith and a seventeen year old Belizean chef for the crime of “Unlawful Sexual Intercourse.” This follows a report by a thirteen year old girl that she had sex with both brothers on separate occasions last year. The minor is now almost six months pregnant.

In a separate incident, a fifteen year old girl from the San Pedrito Area in San Pedro Town reported to police that in December she visited her boyfriend and they later had sex. The teenager was subsequently taken to the doctor and it was confirmed that she was pregnant. Twenty one year old Edilberto Caliz has since been detained and expected to be charged for the crime of ‘Unlawful Sexual Intercourse.’
