Shane Budran freed of 3 counts of attempted murder
A man who was accused of three counts of Attempted Murder walked off a free man today after the victim and two main eyewitnesses could not identify him as the shooter. A relieved thirty-three year old Shane Budran exited the Supreme Court after the charges were dropped against him by Justice Adolph Lucas. The incident occurred on December seventh, 2007, when Police Corporal Mark Humes and two friends, Daniel Faber and Anthony Grant were hanging out near Yarborough Road when a gunman opened fire on them. Humes said he did not see who shot at him and Faber and Grant did not wish to proceed with the matter in court.
