Wallace’s alleged accomplice arrested

Belize City police have charged a fifteen-year-old minor in connection with the attempted murder of another fifteen-year-old. Police say their investigations have led them to strongly believe their young suspect was along with thirteen-year-old Andrew Wallace, who they alleged shot after the teenager. Wallace was later killed by a policeman’s bullet after he pointed his weapon at the officer. This evening the minor, who appeared before the Family Court, was charged with abetment of a crime. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars, which he met. The police are alleging that the teen encouraged Wallace to murder the other youth.
