Belizean Resorts Score Big on Trip Advisor

A release from the Belize Tourism Board says that American Airlines will be adding additional flights to and from Belize. Starting later this year on June six, travelers will be able to enjoy direct flights between Belize and Los Angeles on Saturdays and Sundays. And from new flights to awards for the tourism industry. To add to that good news, today, the Trip Advisor’s 2015 Travelers’ Choice Awards were released and Belize’s top properties made the list in several categories.  Hopkins’ Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort took the top spots for small hotels and hotels for service in Central America, and placing in two other categories at the regional and world level. The Phoenix Resort took second place for luxury hotels in the world and first in Central America. The San Pedro property earned a number of placements in several other categories at the Central America and World levels. Taking the number one spot for Belize’s top hotel was San Pedro’s Victoria House which also placed in the top ten in Central America.
