Cyclist killed on Northern Highway
Another traffic accident, this time in Corozal, has claimed the life of a resident of Chan Chen Village. According to Hugo Espinoza, around nine on Saturday night he was driving his Toyota minivan between miles ninety and ninety-one on the Northern Highway when Ramon Rodriguez suddenly rode his bicycle into his path. Espinoza told police there was nothing he could do to avoid hitting Rodriguez, who was pronounced dead on arrival at the Corozal Hospital.
