Police seek information in death of watchman
Tonight police are appealing to anyone who can assist them in their investigation into the death of forty-three year old William Arnold, the watchman for Cavalry Temple Primary School. Sometime on Saturday, Arnold, who lives on the premises, was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, but died from injuries police believe he may have sustained from a previous incident.
Assistant Commissioner Crispin Jeffries
“No we don’t know how he suffered the injuries, but we do know from the observation that he was seen to have what appeared to be bruises all over the body. We do know that there are person or persons who may have been familiar with this person and we are interviewing those persons to verify if they had on previous occasion prior to his demise speaking to him of those injuries. That investigation is ongoing.”
