Noted singer offers spiritual inspiration in new book

You may know her as Radiance Thompson, the singer of contemporary and gospel songs, but what you may not know is that she has also been inspiring many through her writings. The latest release, “Prayers That Work Effectively in Today’s World”, offers comfort to those in distress through spiritual blessings. Thompson says more than ever we need to start praying.

“The crime situation here in Belize is definitely, you can see that it’s needed now, the AIDS situation, the government situation. Prayers are always needed. I mean, when things are good or when they are bad, they are always needed because we need to acknowledge God first thing in the morning.”

Thompson says the publication is not a prayer book, but the writings will help the reader get through any troubling situation. Thompson says next week Friday she will hold a book signing at CY’s Music at the corner of Hyde’s Lane and New Road. ?Prayers That Work? will be on sale for fifteen dollars.
