Three charged in S.J.C. robbery
It may have taken them a few days, but tonight police have arrested and charged three men in connection with the brazen afternoon robbery on the campus of Saint John’s College Junior College. They are thirty year old Paul Rubio, eighteen year old Teddy Reyes and twenty-five year old Herman “Yagga” Morris. All three have tonight been charged with four counts of robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. They pleaded not guilty and have been remanded to Hattieville Prison until their next court date on August twenty-sixth. The arrest is in connection with an incident on Tuesday in which school officials and students of S.J.C. were robbed at gunpoint of cash, bicycles and other valuables. The school’s security guard has also reported that as the attackers made their way onto the campus, he was thrown to the ground and robbed of his point thirty-eight revolver.
