No Arrests In Emerson Daly Murder
Will there be any justice for the families of twenty-four year old Emerson Daly or sixty-year old Feliciano Richard Noralez? Daly was initially reported missing and his body found two days later when it was pulled out from the river behind Banana Bank on January twenty-first. He had been shot to the face and then dumped in the river. Several persons were detained and up to last week, a suspect was apprehended as Belmopan police investigators followed up on leads into the murder. Since then, the minor, who was in custody, has been released pending further investigation. In the case of Noralez, a former security guard employed with Anchor Security was also detained for that murder. He too has been released and Deputy Officer Commanding the Belmopan Police Formation, Inspector Stephanie Grinage explains.
Insp. Stephanie Grinage, Deputy O.C., Belmopan Police Formation
“Last week we had one person detained but the investigation continues in regards to that investigation. So the person was released but the investigation continues in regards to that.”

“How about Emerson Daly?”
Insp. Stephanie Grinage
“No, there isn’t…it is the same, the same.”
