Burglaries plague school, church
Investigations continue tonight into a break-in that has left a school without its computers. Officials of the Central Christian School on Freetown Road in Belize City reported that between ten on Monday morning and eight Tuesday night, a thief or thieves forced their way into the building and stole four computers used for classroom instruction. Meanwhile, in the west, a church is mourning the loss of a base guitar and two amplifiers. According to Pastor David Gonzalez of the Full Gospel Church of God in San Martin Village, the burglary occurred between nine on Sunday night and eight on Tuesday morning. In addition to asking the public to report any information in connection with these cases, the police are also reminding everyone that handling, purchasing or storing stolen items is a criminal offence with serious consequences.
