Police need public’s help in hit & run case
Belmopan police are asking the public’s help in identifying the victim of a fatal hit and run that occurred last night. Around nine-thirty police were called to a spot on the Ring Road where they observed the lifeless body of a Hispanic man with apparent head and body injuries. Reports indicated that the man had been seen earlier walking in a drunken state when he was struck by a white vehicle, which fled the scene. Police are asking anyone who can shed more light on this case to please call the Belmopan station. The deceased is described as about five feet four inches tall and in his early to mid twenties. He was wearing blue jeans, black shoes, and a red and blue checkered shirt.
