Delta will begin daily flights in November
It was first mentioned in an interview last month with Airport C.E.O. Pablo Espat, but today it became official. Beginning sometime in November, Delta Airlines will increase its flights between Belize and its Atlanta hub from once a week to every day. The move will provide close to a thousand new seats each week for the busy winter tourist season. Delta will use the newest Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the three-hour run, which will tie into the airline’s extensive route system in the United States and Europe. The flights will leave Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at eleven-thirty in the morning and reach the P.G.I.A. at one twenty-nine in the afternoon. The return flight departs at two forty-five and reaches Atlanta at six forty-two.
