Carlisle is now B.B. Holdings
If you have become increasingly confused by all the different corporate entities used by Michael Ashcroft in his bid for control of Belize Telecommunications Limited, get ready to add another to the list. In a press release issued to the international financial community, Carlisle Holdings Limited, Ashcroft’s flagship conglomerate, has announced that it is “demerging” its U.K. and Ireland based businesses from the company’s U.S. and Belize operations. The European corporation will now be called Carlisle Group Limited, while the remainder, consisting of OneSource in the U.S.A. and the Belize Bank, headquartered here, will take on the name B.B. Holdings. The Belize Bank, which has consistently been the financial engine for the entire group, reported net income of over fifty-four million Belize dollars for the financial year ended in March.
