Minor Reportedly Raped Near Beach in Ladyville
A thirteen year old student of Ladyville, Belize District was reportedly sexually abused last Sunday afternoon. According to the girl, she and her friends went swimming in the sea behind Vista Del Mar, but the abuse occurred when she was not in the water. There are few details of the incident, but the minor claims that while she was in a secluded area, a man came out of the bushes and had sexual intercourse with her against her will. A medical examination certifies that she has been carnally known.
