Accident on Mahogany St. leaves cars wrecked

Story Picture
Sometime after two this afternoon, traffic on Mahogany Street came to a standstill after a Toyota pickup collided into a Prado S.U.V. The crash caused the pickup truck to roll over on its side and both vehicles were extensively damaged. According to police, thirty year old Arnold Santos, the driver of the pickup belonging to the Radisson Fort George Hotel, told them that as he was travelling toward Central American Boulevard he tried to avoid hitting a taxi that was parked on the right-hand side of the road and in so doing crashed into the Prado that was travelling in the opposite direction. That vehicle was driven by twenty-three year old Edwin Stanford, a tour guide with Jaguar Paw Resort. Fortunately, none of the drivers suffered any major injuries. Police have yet to charge anyone in connection with the accident.
