Shawn Vargas Fined $10,000 for Weed Tree

A cannabis tree cost a man ten thousand dollars. Thirty-four year old Shawn Vargas was found with a single weed tree growing on his verandah and he was charged with the cultivation of cannabis. When he appeared in court today, Vargas pleaded guilty to the offense and was fined ten thousand dollars and ordered to pay it by December thirty one, 2015. If he defaults, Vargas will be sent to jail for three years. Whilst in the Magistrate Court, Vargas also answered to a second charge this time for harm inflicted on Brandon Bain. He was slapped with a three hundred dollars fine, plus cost of court and ordered to pay it by April thirty of this year, or three months imprisonment.
