Major Shakeup at B.S.I.
There are significant developments coming out of B.S.I. tonight where it is reported that longtime factory manager John Gillett tendered his resignation today. News Five understands that another senior employee at the Tower Hill Factory, Jamil Matar, was placed on administrative leave on Wednesday, but unlike Gillett, he has not opted to resign. Matar, who is also a contributing writer for the Guardian Newspaper, is the engineering manager at B.S.I. While B.S.I.’s management remains tightlipped on the matter, a number of allegations have surfaced in the wake of the sudden changes. Gillett and Matar were placed on administrative leave on Wednesday pending the outcome of an investigation into the disappearance of factory equipment, specifically a transformer. Both are not accused of any wrongdoing, but the equipment was on inventory under their care. Gillett had been employed with the company for forty-two years until today when he resigned.
