Sentenced to 5 years for robbing pizza delivery man
A robber who lured his victim to a location by ordering a pizza has been convicted. Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord gave twenty-five year old Rommel Middleton five years in prison for his part in the hold up of Kenrick Ferguson back in 2002. On the night of December fourteenth, Ferguson went to Brighton Beach to deliver a pizza, but when he arrived could not locate the supposed customer who called the delivery service. Perplexed, he sold it to someone else. But as Ferguson was leaving the area, two men jumped out of the bushes. The man behind him, who he could not see, put a knife to his throat, while the other, who he later identified as Middleton, searched him. Middleton robbed Ferguson of fifty-eight dollars in personal money and eighty-five dollars that belonged to his boss.
