Wrong Man Receives Death threat

Ronald Michael

About two weeks ago we told you about a shooting in Ladyville that sent Kenroy Arnold to the hospital for gunshot wounds to the back and hand. Well, since that shooting two men were arrested and charged for the crime. Thirty year old Alrick Smith and twenty nine year old Ronald Michael were slapped with a string of charges including attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, dangerous harm, and use of deadly means of harm and remanded until April twenty eight. But today a twenty six year old young man asked us to help him get his story out because he said a television station used his photo when they reported on the charges. Now, it happens that the young man’s name is Ronald Michael- similar to the accused. The Ronald Michael we met today says he knows nothing about the incident, but since his picture was mistakenly used, he has been receiving death threats. Here’s what he told us.

Ronald Michael, Wants Name Cleared

“Last week I was in Placencia and I got a phone call to watch the news. When I watched the news, I saw my picture up for an attempt murder that I don’t really know nothing about.
