Beauty queen jacked at rock concert

Andrea Elrington may have become a household name when she represented the country in the Miss Universe Pageant last month… but all that recognition did not stop two armed robbers from holding up the beauty queen on Friday night. Elrington was assisting her brother, who is the manager of Putt Putt Bar and Grill on the Newtown Barracks, when the incident occurred. According to the police, Elrington was at the entrance of the crowded establishment collecting the cover charge for a rock concert, when two men brandishing handguns relieved her of six hundred dollars in cash. The thieves escaped on bicycles. Authorities at this time have no suspects and are asking anyone with information to please call the nearest police station.
