2 teens arrested for Cleofo Lambey murder
Two youths, one of whom is only fourteen, have been arrested in connection with the murder of Cleofo Lambey. Nineteen-year-old Leroy Ramsey and the minor appeared in court today and were remanded to Hattieville pending trial by jury in the Supreme Court. On June twenty-sixth, Lambey, better known as “Kerob” had just exited Lion King Club and was walking on Euphrates Avenue when two males approached and one shot him in the chest. A family member told News Five that a gold chain and three to four hundred dollars was missing from Lambey’s wallet when his body was found.
