Man Charged for 2014 Murder
Over the weekend, police cracked an old murder case which occurred at Mahogany Heights, Belize District, back in November 2014. This morning, nineteen year old Ronalph Ramsey Junior, was arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court for the Murder Kenroy Parham. The suspect told the court that the police officer who charged him with the murder of Parham is “punking” him because he was held for a twenty-four hour period and without any evidence. The Chief Magistrate made a note of what he said and transferred the matter before the Senior Magistrate, Sharon Fraser. Ramsey Junior’s preliminary inquiry is set for August twelfth, 2015. Parham’s is believed to have met his untimely death at around ninety thirty on November twenty eighth 2014. His bullet riddled body was discovered on Saturday, November twenty-ninth, 2014 on the side of the road—just two lots away from his aunt’s house. The body was lying face down in the grass with gunshot wounds to the back and head. Parham Junior had gone to Mahogany Heights to visit with his two children.
