Bye-election in Dangriga is Set for July Eighth

The date for the Dangriga bye-election has been set for Wednesday, July eighth.  Nomination day will held on Monday, June twenty-second for persons interested in contesting the election.  Those wishing to offer themselves for candidacy can register their names at the Dangriga Town Hall.  Nomination forms can be picked up at the Elections and Boundaries Registration Office in Dangriga.  A release issued by the Elections and Boundaries Department announces that polls will be open at seven a.m. on Election Day.  Only persons who registered on or before May tenth are persons whose names will appear on the register and therefore will be eligible to vote in this bye-election.
