15-year-old High School Student Shot While Walking on Lakeview Street

A fifteen year old student is hospitalized in a critical condition but stable condition. Shortly before nine on Monday night, the second form student of Caanan High School was walking on Lakeview Street heading to his home on Sibun Street when he was shot. According to reports, there were at least two men, one of whom was wearing a “fisherman’s hat” approached the minor from behind him and fired a single shot. The teenager was hit to the top of the head and later rushed to the K.H.M.H. When we spoke with family members late this evening, they described the teenager’s outlook as “fifty-fifty”. Police have three persons in custody pending investigations.
