Just in: Airstrip worker shot on way home
It is news just in. Around six this evening Lauren Augustine, a ramp supervisor for Tropic Air at the Municipal Airstrip, was shot as he rode his bicycle home from work. According to witnesses, Augustine was approaching the corner of St. Matthew and St. Charles Street when a young man riding in the opposite direction fired a single shot to Augustine’s head. The assailant then rode off. Latest reports indicate that Augustine has been taken to Universal Health Services where he is now fighting for his life.
