Bredda David, the creator of Kungo music and whose songs are perennial favourites, has added yet another recording to his list of accomplishments. This week he stopped by News Five to give us a little taste of his latest work.

?With this CD, I really as a musician bring myself out of the context of a Belizean musician and I just play what I know. I just play music period. Now that we have the studio we have the privilege to experiment with music. So some music deh on yah weh Belizeans never hear yet, they never know music could sound so, but this dah weh we have to do now.?
Bredda David says since he returned to Belize in 1984 he has been encouraged by the continued public interest in his music, despite the many challenges that confront local artists.

?This dah proof to it. Here I am twenty years later and getting stronger, just like weh the album says. And dah nuh me do this, this is with the guidance of my father and the help of all my people from the north to the south to the east to the west.?
