4-year-old succumbs to liver disorder
And in news of another death, we regret to report that four-year-old Eric Arzu has succumbed to the liver disorder that has plagued him since only months after his birth. On Tuesday, we reported on last-ditch efforts to arrange a liver transplant, and while we received numerous offers to help as a result of that story, On Wednesday he slipped into a coma. The child died at six-fifty this morning at the K.H.M.H. Little Eric will be buried over the weekend. His grandmother, Phyllis Alvarez, would like to thank all those people who tried to help Eric throughout his prolonged illness.
