Sheldon Grinage Hospitalized After Attempt on His Life in Weekend Shooting
A twenty-three year old Belize City resident is tonight in a critical, but stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital following a shooting on Sunday morning. Before two a.m., Sheldon Grinage was shot twice to the back as he stood on Police Street in Lake Independence. According to reports, Grinage was hit as a motorcycle drove by with two men. The backseat rider pulled out a gun and fired two shots in his direction which caught him on the back. Grinage was rushed to K.H.M.H in the back of a police pickup and is now in a critical, but stable condition.
