Ministry highlights sustainable development
For the first time, the Ministry of Natural Resources has set aside a week to raise awareness about the work they do to promote sustainable development. Over the next five days, the observance will be marked with a number of activities co-sponsored by community and non-governmental organisations and the Government of Belize. On Monday the Ministry’s Chief Executive Officer, Patricia Mendoza and Chief Forest Officer Osmany Salas, stopped by our studios to speak about some of the week’s highlights.

?Particularly attempting of late to ensure that we provide greater access and benefits to those persons who live around the protected areas and who we call on to support us in protected areas management. So not just for conservation sake, but for all of us.?
