Serial chain-snatcher apprehended

In related news, police say they have caught a notorious chain-snatcher. According to the authorities, this man, twenty-seven year old Rudolph Smith of Plues Street in Belize City is the person responsible for several robberies of jewellery, cell phones, and purses. Smith was positively identified by at least three of his victims and as a result, has been charged with three counts of theft. Tonight police believe that Smith might have robbed other persons of their belongings and investigating officers are asking anyone who believe they might have been one of Smith’s victims to please come forward and lodge a complaint. Today in Magistrate’s court, Smith was denied bail and remanded to Hattieville Prison until his next court appearance on May thirteenth.
