Belizean elected to head regional weather organization
We’ve always known that Carlos Fuller is a fine weatherman…and it looks like that fact has not escaped his colleagues. On Saturday, Fuller was elected President of the Regional Association of the World Meteorological Organization at its fourteenth annual meeting in San Jose, Costa Rica. Region four of the W.M.O. includes Canada, the U.S.A., Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. Fuller’s term is for four years and as regional president he will also serve on the W.M.O.’s Executive Council. We offer our congratulations on his achievement.
