Family still can?t find missing man
Since twenty-eight-year-old Daniel Tillett was reported missing one month ago the family has looked far and wide but still has no idea where their loved one might be. But they remain optimistic that Tillett, who suffers from mental illness, will be found alive and well. Today, Kendra and Darrel Tillett appealed to the authorities and the public to help them find their brother.
Kendra Tillett, Sister
?I know him as somebody who does not fool around with people. He usually takes his walks on the road. All he would ask for is a shilling to buy his cigarette. Even if somebody would see my brother working for someone because it could be that somebody has him working for them maybe on a farm or in their yard.?
Darrel Tillett, Brother
?I get informed that he was also picked up by a white vehicle and I went and asked in corporation if anybody picked up him from any location on the highway in Belize, could they please feel free to come up and tell the family where they picked him up and where they left him.?
?Right about this time, all I want to do is ask for the corporation of the public to at least share anything that they saw because I believe that I need the public at this time.?
?We keep pushing on. Everybody is putting in their part. My mom goes to Belmopan. We go all about and we try our best because people say first you have to do that before you come back and have anything to say because it is a personal interest. We spent a lot of money because this thing di exhaust we. We not only looking for him, but financial wise because whenever we get a vehicle we have to pay. We have to pay bus to take us to Dangriga or all over the country. But I believe that either something happened to my brother in Belmopan or he got knocked down around the area. He either died on the highway or either he is working with somebody because he is a person you can get to stay with you and he will be willing to work. The last information we got is that he was seen in Sand Hill. We went to Sand Hill and asked around and nobody see Daniel Tillett.?
