The Belize Unity Alliance, an organization which aims to bring together and galvanize all third parties, is very much a part of the present geopolitical picture.  Led by former Placencia Village Chairman Charles Leslie Junior, there is an appeal for membership in light of what’s taking place with the handling of the territorial dispute.

“The B.U.A. is just an entity, a machine, like a router in your home that joins the forces.  We need a national party to challenge the PUDP system, it is that simple.  Only the people can save the people.  That I want to stress, that is very important.  If we want change, if you want change, Belizean people, you have to support something different.  We cannot continue this madness anymore, this country is in a very, very dangerous place and we cannot continue to pretend that it is not.”
