B.D.F. Soldier Charged for a Mischievous Act

Rigo Zuniga

B.D.F. soldier, twenty-eight year old Rigo Zuniga, is also in trouble with the law tonight for attempting to avoid paying Courts Belize for a flat screen television.  Zuniga made a false report to police on June third, 2015 alleging that all his household items were destroyed in a fire. But police found out otherwise and Zuniga is facing charges of Committing a Mischievous Act. This morning, Zuniga pleaded not guilty and was granted bail by Magistrate Ladonna John. But he remains in police custody and is due back before the court until October twenty-seventh, 2015. It turns out that the investigation led police to a female, who disclosed that Zuniga gave her his flat screen television and a stereo to pawn out for him at Fair Brothers Pawn Shop in Belize City. And that is where police tracked down the two items. The charge carried a small fine.
