Kareem Musa Says He Will Deliver Caribbean Shores
Even as Kareem Musa deals with internal party issues, he can’t lose sight of his own upcoming battle in Caribbean Shores. He will be facing off against a formidable candidate in current Mayor Darrell Bradley. Bradley has taken over from Area Representative Santiago Castillo who stepped aside to make way. Musa says that he is ready to deliver whenever elections are called.
Kareem Musa, P.U.P. Standard Bearer, Caribbean Shores
“I would say to you the positive campaign has started, at least from my end. I don’t pay much mind to what my opponent is doing or not doing. I know that for the past three months I have been on the ground in Caribbean Shores. I’ve been house to house and truly the response has been remarkable, it has been rewarding for me as a new candidate being out there, and it’s all been positive responses and I can tell you safely that we are confident of a victory in Caribbean Shores. The U.D.P. in Caribbean Shores has had a long, rich history of doing nothing for the area, starting with Mr. Carlos Perdomo, then Mr. Santi Castillo. They won their seats and then they went to Belmopan and then they forgot about the people so this is now becoming a ritual for the U.D.P. in Caribbean Shores, that every few months before an election they just change the guard, and now the new guard is Mr. Bradley. I can’t say what weight Mr. Castillo will play in Mr. Bradley’s camp, if any.”
