Undersized Lobster Lands Business Owner in Hot Water
A Taiwanese businesswoman who was caught with eighteen undersized lobster tails at her business was today dragged to court on fisheries offenses. But she pleaded not guilty and is challenging the Fisheries Department to prove its case against her. Pin Yin Wu Li was read a single charge of possession of undersized lobster tails found inside Billy’s Kitchen located at Mile one on the Phillip Goldson Highway on Tuesday, August twenty-fifth, 2015. She explained to the Magistrate that when she bought the lobsters she did her best to verify that they met size stipulations, but there were so many that she missed some of them. Since she pleaded not guilty, Magistrate Rogers offered her bail in the sum of eight hundred dollars and one surety of the same amount and she is due back in Court on October seventh, 2015.
