Dancers prepare for Sunday recital
Ask most famous dancers how they got their start and they’ll tell you about their childhood visits to the dance studio. And while not all the performers on the stage this weekend will become famous, all of them will benefit from the graceful skills they’ve mastered on the polished hardwood floor under the tutelage of Sistie Fairweather.

?We are going to do a variety of different styles of dances. We have modern, classic, ethnic and folk. We have something for everyone. There is something in there that somebody will like. I think it will be an enjoyable programme. ?

For eight years the Vista Dance Studio has been performing for the public. Most of the dancers have been with the school since it started and on Sunday, the ballerinas will once again grace the stage. The studio?s director is Sistie Fairweather-Harmes.

?Well we rehearsed all year round. We did the rehearsals gradually so that when this day comes we are not too stressed out.?
Sistie says one of the reasons why the shows have been a success is because of parent support and she is expecting a good turnout. The performance gets underway at six in the evening at the Biltmore Plaza Hotel.
Harmes says the proceeds raised from each performance fund future shows. Tickets for this year’s event are available at the door for fifteen dollars.
