But while things may have calmed down somewhat, there was another murder last week. Roaring Creek resident Devin Neal Flowers was riding his motorcycle on the Valley of Peace Road when he was gunned down. Police say his murder is unrelated to the spate of allegedly drug related murders which have plagued the area. They believe that one of his own relatives was the killer.

“No arrests have been made but again we are looking for an individual. I know wanted posters have been issued to the public and different formations within the country of Belize for this person’s arrest. We are looking for one Floyd Neal in relation to this incident.”

“That’s what we are told that he has relations to the victim. We are looking for Floyd Neal; I think we are getting a little closer and very soon he will be captured and brought to justice.”

“Have you all been able to confirm what we heard right after that shooting that it was beef between family members which resulted in that shooting?”

“Well that’s one of the premises we are investigating from. There are a number of theories that we have been hearing, but we can’t just go by what we hear. We have to investigate thoroughly and indeed, like you rightly said, our investigation is showing that they had something prior to this incident and it was a retaliation of that previous incident.”
