Triston Popper Shot on Pickstock Street

Back to the shooting on Wednesday night, eighteen-year-old Triston Popper remains in a stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, following an attempt on his life in the wee hours this morning.  Shortly after midnight, while Popper was socializing with a group of friends at a residence on Pickstock Street, he was called by someone who asked him to step outside.  When he did, a lone gunman unleashed a hail of bullets which caught him on the chest, back, thigh and abdomen.  Popper was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where he remains hospitalized.  Police are looking for two men, including the alleged shooter, who is described as dark complexioned, to assist in their investigation.
