Ex-Intelco chief sues Channel 5
In related news, we feel obligated to report that this television station and one of its reporters has been served with a writ of libel and slander allegedly committed against former Intelco chief Glenn Godfrey. Godfrey, who is seeking an injunction along with monetary damages, claims that he was wronged by a question asked by News 5’s Stewart Krohn to Prime Minister Said Musa during an interview in Independence Village on February second. That press conference was aired live on Love FM as well as included in the newscast of Channel Seven Television. Today Krohn, who also serves as this station’s News Director and General Manager, said that his company will mount a vigorous defence against the lawsuit and to that end has retained the services of attorney Dean Barrow.
