All Saints Church breaks ground for expansion
The mood was a festive this afternoon at All Saints Church as members of the congregation gathered to break ground for the expansion of their church. The Parish, a beacon for Anglicans in Belize City for the last fifty years has decided they simply do not have enough space anymore to accommodate all those who come for weddings, funerals and other services. But in particular, they want to make sure they can fit the entire student body of the growing All Saints School in at the same time so they can worship together. The groundbreaking was followed by a fund raising tea. All Saints Parish will celebrate its fiftieth jubilee in November.
