Biltmore hosts Wedding Expo

If you’re planning to get married anytime soon, or maybe you are just toying with the idea, you might want to attend the “Wedding Expo” this weekend at the Belize Biltmore Plaza. The two-day event features everything from wedding gowns to fine wines and floral arrangements. Of course, there will be representatives from some of Belize’s finest honeymoon destinations. News 5 spoke with Entertainment Manager for Belize Biltmore Plaza Karen Vernon about this popular event.

?This year we have Courts Belize; we have Richard Holder Photography; we have Emil Alvarez who is a local designer from Orange Walk amongst some other boots and we have some participants who took part last year as well.?

?We are trying to have in one look–if you want to get married–you could come here and find everything you need. We have every aspect of your wedding. You can get your jewellery; wedding dresses…Biltmore provides estimates, menus, samples of food and all that kind of stuff.?

?The first show was held last year. How was that??

?It was very successful and in that I mean participants feedback. I mean that they actually got business out of the Expo. So that?s why they came back and you know, we have most of the participants from last year coming back with some new additions.?

The special opening was this evening and Wedding Expo 2005 continues this Saturday from nine a.m. to six p.m.
